This Privacy Policy explains how ExpoByteLabs — a brand of ExpoByteLabs, based in Jakarta, Indonesia — handles the information you share with us through this website and when you contact us. We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to reply to you and run the site.
The most important thing to know is in “Sharing with our delivery partners” below: when you send us an enquiry, we pass it to the partner studio best placed to help, and we copy you on that email so you can see exactly what was shared and with whom.
Who we are
ExpoByteLabs is operated by ExpoByteLabs, based in Jakarta, Indonesia. If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@expobytelabs.com.
Information we collect
- Enquiry details you send us. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (optional) and the message you write. If you reach us on WhatsApp, we receive the details you choose to share there.
- Basic technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically processes standard request information (such as IP address, browser type and time of visit) to serve pages and keep the site secure.
We do not knowingly collect payment-card details or sensitive personal data through this site, and we ask that you do not send such information via the form or WhatsApp.
How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and understand what you need.
- To introduce you to the delivery partner best placed to do the work.
- To operate, secure and improve the website.
- To keep records of our correspondence with you.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
Sharing with our delivery partners
ExpoByteLabs runs the commercial side of the work and our partner studios deliver it. So when your enquiry is a fit, we share it with one of the studios below — the one we think can actually help — so they can pick up the conversation with you directly.

What we share is what you sent us: your name, email address, company and message. We copy you on the introduction email, so you always see what was passed on and to whom. We share your enquiry with one studio only — never both, never a wider list — and we do not share it with anyone else.
Once introduced, the studio is an independent company acting as its own data controller, and its own privacy policy governs what it does with your information from that point. Your contract for any work is with them, not with us.
International transfers. Our partners operate in Singapore and Indonesia, so an introduction may involve transferring your details between those countries. If you would rather we did not pass your enquiry on, say so in your message or email hello@expobytelabs.com and we will reply to you directly instead.
Service providers we rely on
To run the site and reach you, we use a small number of trusted third parties, who process data only on our behalf:
- Hosting & infrastructure (including Cloudflare) to serve and protect the site.
- Web fonts loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address to deliver the fonts.
- Internal notification tooling (Discord) that alerts our team when you submit the contact form.
- WhatsApp (Meta), if you choose to message us there — governed by their own privacy terms.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your request and for a reasonable period afterwards for our records, then delete or anonymise it. You can ask us to delete your details sooner (see below).
Cookies
This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Any cookies used are strictly necessary for the site to function.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@expobytelabs.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
